Kizuna 1st Week Sales & Ranking

Matsuura Aya’s latest single has ranked at #20 in the Oricon Weekly Charts and sold a somewhat depressing 6,007 copies. This makes Kizuna both her lowest ranking and selling release and places her sales behind artists such as THE Possible and Ongaku Gatas.

I actually quite liked the single after a few listens and I think it’s quite sad how low it has sold. I hope the next Matsuura release is not a ballad and I hope we see another release from her before the end of 2008.
