New Unit: Guardians 4
A new Hello! Project unit has been announced entitled, Guardians 4 – those of you familar with the Shugo-Chara anime may have heard this name before as the group is based on four characters from the series. It was originally thought that the group was simply a rebranded Shugo-Chara Egg however the group is made up of the following Hello! Pro members;
- Mitsui Aika (Morning Musume)
- Sugaya Risako (Berryz Koubou)
- Kumai Yurina (Berryz Koubou)
- Nakajima Saki (C-ute)
This is the first time Sugaya Risako and Kumai Yurina have been in a sub-unit, not including 4KIDS. Mitsui and Nakajima were in Athena & Robikerottsu together. The group will debut with Omakase! Guardian on 2009-05-27. I’m assuming Shugo-Chara Egg is no more?
Guardians 4 will sing both the opening and ending themese for Shugo-Chara Doki!
I’m all for this new Unit. I just hope they don’t get rid of Buono! I would have to protest H!P. :)

I’m almost positive Buono! is still singing the endings for the anime, and Guardians 4 is just taking over doing the opening themes.
I’m pretty sure Buono! will be safe for a while since they’re performing in Europe this year.
does that mean their replaing buono!?

hopefully buono will still be making songs b.c they were hired to sing for the bginings and endings of shugo chara and if guardians for replaces them and they sing all the opening and endings…….i think the whole world will be upset!:(
Buono! is not being replace they are still sining the ending. Guardians 4 is doing the opening. Also Shugo Chara Egg! isn’t completely over yet as they still have musical to do.
THEY BETTER NOT GET RID OF BUONO!!! And also, I think this group is going to sound a bit weird, because Risako and Yurina both have like deep voices, and Saki has a high cutesy voice, and I don’t know much about the MoMusu member….
Buono! is still singing the ED for Doki as of now, with their new single, My Boy (WHICH IS AWESOME ♥)
Eh? release on may 27? That’s my birthday!
I hope it will be a nice song as my birthday present! xD
