New Singles for Buono! & Guardians 4
Yet more releases have been announced today, this time from the latest issue of Nakayoshi Magazine! Buono! will release their 8th single, Cosmic Eyes, on 2009-07-22 which will be the theme for a special week of Shugo Chara Doki.
Also, despite the somewhat modest sales of Guardians 4‘s debut single, they will release their second single on 2009-08-26 – seems like a very long way away right now!
I’m looking forward to both singles though I hope Guardians 4 have a better PV and somewhat strong melody, also I’d like to see Shugo-Chara Egg! have their own version on the single, like the first single.
Guradians 4 Artist Images
The official Hello! Project website has uploaded a profile and artist images for the new Hello! Project group, Guardians 4 and you can see them here below. I’ve also updated my own Idol Profiles page with better quality pictures for all of the artists.
New Unit: Guardians 4
A new Hello! Project unit has been announced entitled, Guardians 4 – those of you familar with the Shugo-Chara anime may have heard this name before as the group is based on four characters from the series. It was originally thought that the group was simply a rebranded Shugo-Chara Egg however the group is made up of the following Hello! Pro members;
- Mitsui Aika (Morning Musume)
- Sugaya Risako (Berryz Koubou)
- Kumai Yurina (Berryz Koubou)
- Nakajima Saki (C-ute)
This is the first time Sugaya Risako and Kumai Yurina have been in a sub-unit, not including 4KIDS. Mitsui and Nakajima were in Athena & Robikerottsu together. The group will debut with Omakase! Guardian on 2009-05-27. I’m assuming Shugo-Chara Egg is no more?
Guardians 4 will sing both the opening and ending themese for Shugo-Chara Doki!
