Mano Erina 4th Single – “Kono Mune no Tokimeko wo” Radio Preview
Mano’s new singles are always previewed so early! Her newest single, この胸のときめきを、Kono Mune no Tokimeki wo was played last night on BayFM and I have to say I do prefer it to her last single, sure it’s a ballad but it’s a bit different and not a rehash of her last two singles.
The single is released 2009-09-30!
Disappointing Sales for Mano’s latest single
Mano Erina’s 3rd Major Single, Sekai wa Summer Party, has charted at No.10 in the Oricon Weekly Charts with sales of 14,111 – almost 10,000 copies than the first week sales of her last two singles.
While this seems pretty disappointing it may be that UFA has decided to spread release events over two weeks instead of one and perhaps she’ll have a decent second week, hopefully achieving sales of at least 20,000 copies.
I like Mano Erina but I feel her major releases have been far too formulaic with a piano opening followed by some cutesy pop number, I’d like to hear her do something else and while I realize that the piano is her gimmick and her voice isn’t all that strong she has enough character to pull off something a little more satisfying.
Mano Erina 4th Single – Kono Mune no Tokimeki wo (09-09-30)
Just a few days after the release of her 3rd major single Mano Erina’s 4th single has already been announced titled, この胸のときめきを、Kono Mune no Tokimeki wo.
Her 3rd single, Sekai wa Summer Party has fared not too badly in the charts in it’s first three days of sales; 06,10 & 10. Let’s hope it manages a top ten position for the week!
Mano Erina in Pucchimoni V
According to a recent article Mano Erina will be singing the Kome Kome Club song Kimi ga Iru dake de on the upcoming Hello! Project cover album. This track is listed as being sung by Pucchimoni V and therefore we can surmise that Mano is in Pucchimoni V!
3rd Single for Mano Erina
Rather quickly, it has been announced by Mano Erina’s official blog that she will release her 3rd major single titled “Sekai wa Summer Party” It sounds like it might be another up-beat melody which is good because I liked her last single quite a lot! The arrangement this time is once again done by KAN, not too bad at all for Manoeri! The single will be released on 2009-07-29!

Hajimete no Keiken Radio Preview
Mano Erina’s second major single Hajimete no Keiken was previewd on BayFM radio today and I must say it’s a step up from Otome no Inori. The song still incorporates the piano and I’m wondering how long this will last but it’s certainly a more up-beat and fun track when compared to her other singles. It’s not quite as dancy as Lucky Aura and I still don’t think she can compare to the likes of Matsuura Aya or Goto Maki.
Nevertheless a fun track and worth a listen.
