Recent Hello! Project purchases.

Well I’ve been spending far too much money that I don’t have recently on Hello! Project merchandise, this month I bought Country Musume ni Konno to Fujimoto’s single Uwaki na Honey Pie and Tanpopo’s 1st album: TANPOPO 1. My biggest purchase has been completing my collection of Coconuts Musume’s singles, I now own a copy of all of their singles and it wasn’t cheap, the hardest to find and most expensive was their first single Halation Summer. Jounetsu Yuki Miraisen and DANCE&CHANCE were quite easy to come across.

I’ve also preordered Morning Musume’s 34th single Onna ni Sachi Are with the DVD, that’s limited edition A I think. I had 600yen of points to use on CDJapan so I couldn’t resist, it was my first purchase from that site so I hope all goes well.

I absolutely must hold of buying anything for a while now as I move out to start University in just over a month and a half. My next purchase will be Berryz Koubou or Goto Maki’s 4th album I think…

Latest (Retro) Hello! Project Purchases

My latest Hello! Project is (again) of the retro variety. In case you haven’t noticed I’m a stickler for the Hello! Project gone-by and thse four singles couldn’t pass me by. They’re not brand new so they’re not in perfect condition but they’re pretty damn almost. Memory Seishun no Hikari is in fact perfect, it even contains the mini lyrics booklet that came with it, what’s more it’s the limited version. I really like the 8-cm CDs that were once common in Japan, they’re so dinky. I’d like the Early Singles Collection but I’d much rather have the originals I think. There’s not much point in reviewing the singles because I’m sure you all know them. I hadn’t heard the c/w for any of these singles before though (except Never Forget on Memory Seishun no Hikari). The cost was very reasonble, around £12 including shipping, which is around $24 right? This week I’ve got the following Hello! Project goodies on the way; Morning Musume – Kanashimi Twilight Limited Edition B, Kiiro 5 – Kiiro Osara de BOOM BOOM BOOM!, Pucchimoni – Chokotto Love and maybe a week after Coconuts Musume’s DANCE & CHANCE.

Latest Purchase – Jounetsu Yuki Miraisen

Well Coconuts Musume’s Jounetsu Yuki Miraisen arrived today and I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of the single, the front cover and inside cover are very nice as is the disc. I’d heard the single before from one of the Pucchi Best compilations and I was really buying it for the c/w, Koibito Boogie-Woogie. It’s a really fun song I don’t really know how to describe it but I think it could have been good enough to be their sixth single to be honest. This single isn’t too rare just now so I advise if you get the chance buy it!

Sorry the picture quality is rather poor.

First Hello! Project Purchase

I’ve never before had the chance to purchase any Hello! Project goods as I was not yet 18 and couldn’t join certain websites to do so. Since I’ve been 18 for a few weeks now I decided it was time to start buying the songs, so my first purchase is Coconuts Musume’s Jounetsu Yuki Miraisen. As Coconuts Musume are (retrospectively) my favourite Hello! Project group this was the clear choice for me. Getting their older singles will be more challenging. It’s always annoyed me that the Hello! Project page doesn’t even have pictures of singles prior to the one I just bought.
