New Tanpopo & Pucchimoni too!
Tsunku has announced today that new iterations of the until now defunct units Tanpopo and Pucchimoni will feature on the upcoming compilation album, Chanpuru ~Happy Marriage Song Selection~ released on 2009-07-15. So far no member for either unit have been announced and the new groups will debut at the upcoming Hello! Project summer concert.

I would like Risa to be the leader of Tanpopo, just because she is the only remaining member of the 3rd generation still in Hello! Project. On the other hand by that logic Takahashi should be the leader of Minimoni.

I agree with the Takahashi leading Minimoni…but I love Linlin so I’m giving her the chance…I would like to see Kikkawa or Sayaka in one of these units though…

It’d be kinda nice to see at least one of the subgroups consist of only morning musume members… everything has been so focused on the eggs lately..

Well, that’s because the Eggs are the future and should have more exposure. Morning Musume gets plenty of exposure. How many Eggs can you name? What d’you know of them?

I really hope these groups are not made up of all Eggs. I was super excited about this news until I remembered that was most likely going to be the case. Even if they stick a Morning Musume member or someone from Berryz or C-ute in as a leader, that definitely won’t be enough to keep my interest in these groups. It’s already enough of a downer that the new Mini Moni is going to be all Eggs, except for LinLin. :( I love LinLin, but the huge majority of the Eggs completely bore me, and most of them are frankly not very talented IMHO.
I would LOVE to see Risa as the leader of Tanpopo, though. Probabaly not going to happen, but I would love to see it. :)

i too hope these 2 groups are not made out of all Eggs, i think the Linlin + Eggs in minimoni is good enough. they should put some eggs in the new remakes but not most of them, i mean how many Eggs ready to debut can there be left anyways? i would like to see Kikkawa again tho she was awesome!

Kikkawa could fit into either Pucchimoni or Tanpopo in my opinion.

i recon junjun in tanpopo with chitaso and erika from c-ute and mabey eri?
i like that there coming back but it wont be the same as the good old days ;’(
