Tsuji Nozomi Gives Birth (Now with Translation) (Update)

Tsuji Nozomi gave birth to her second child, a son, today at 1.32pm JST. The baby weighs 2.7kg, apparently exactly the same as what her daughter, Noa, weighed when born.

Tsuji is ecstatic, and if you can read Japanese, you can read more on her blog. If there’s particular demand, I could just translate it for you all!

Today!

On the 26th of December!

At 1.32pm!

I gave birth to a healthy 2.7kg baby boy.

(2.7kg is exactly the same weight as Noa was when she was born.)

That’s amazing, right?

Labour pains began at around 12 noon, and after waiting, I finally met my little man.

I’m very emotional and so happy right now. Little one, from my heart, thank you so much!

I haven’t slept at all today, and not been able to eat either, I’m a really worn out mother! As for after the pregnancy, I was still in some pain and had to relax and take it easy.

I’m so, so happy right now!

For those who were rooting for me, thanks so much!

I wanted to tell you all about this as soon as I could.

I’d like to truly thank everyone from the bottom of my heart.

Morning Musume OG Concert Tour Announced

Big news for all the fans of the Morning Musume OG.   It’s been announced that the members of the OG/M-Line will be having a concert tour throughout Japan.  The name of concert will be ”Dream Morning Musume。Concert Tour 2011 Haru no Mai 〜Sotsugyousei DE Saikessei〜”.  All members of the OG are hopefully going to be performing with the exceptions of Konno Asami due to her broadcasting job. There will be a total of  8 concerts in the tour.  The final show of this event is expected on May 29 2011.

This is huge news.  In fact, this is the first OG Concert Tour since the Elder Club Graduated from H!P.  I can’t wait to hear more about this upcoming concert.

Tsuji Nozomi Opens Blog

Former W member Tsuji Nozomi finally returns with the opening of her blog today! It’s been a long time since she’s had any sort of content with fans and I must say I’m pleased to see something from her – before her shock marriage / pregnancy she was my favourite Hello! Project member.

I’m not getting my hopes up for any sort of release – I think she’s just back in time for the end of the Elder Club.

None the less it’s good to see her – she’s looking cuter than ever!

Hello! Project News Round-Up

Well, I go to work for 7 hours and come home and a whole lot of stuff seems to have gone down in Hello! Project land!

Firstly, Mano Erina will release her debut indie single on 2008-06-29 (next Sunday), at a handshake event, the single will retail for 800Yen. Shortly after this event the single will be available to fan-club members and sold through a few online retailers to Japan only customers so that means if you want it, you’re going to have to ask a friend in Japan to get it for you or try your luck with auction websites. The single will be called Mano Piano and will feature Mano accompanying herself on piano, a Hello! Project first I believe! Pictured above is the single cover.

In other news, Iida Kaori will return to show business from her maternity leave on July 7th to take part in an environmental event, I’m not sure if she’ll be resuming full activities after this but this her first public appearance since giving birth.

Yajima Maimi will have her own radio show entitled C-ute Yajima Maimi no I My Me <3 Maimi~ on FM PORT from 23:00 – 00:00 JST.

Tsuji Nozmi made an appearance at Nakazawa Yuko’s recent birthday concert which apparently surprised Yuko herself, Tsuji sang happy birthday and presented Nakazawa with a cake which and then proceeded to cheekily blow the candles out. This is also Tsuji’s first public appearance since giving birth.

The rumors of Goto Maki signing with Avex have intensified with UFA removing Goto’s profile from their artist database and several newspapers reporting that the official announcement of Goto’s contract with Avex will be made on 2008-06-22. Time will tell. Edit: Just read this topic, the news is too fast and too exciting for me to update constantly!!

A good day of releases today! Tokito’s newest single is out with a great PV and great melody, it features two members of THE Possible. There are two versions of this release, regular and special.

Tsuji Nozomi’s first and speculatively last single is released today, a cover of an older Morning Musume single. It will be the theme to the anime that she used to star in.

A movie that features Abe Natsumi is also released today, I haven’t actually heard of the movie myself but if it features Nacchi, it might be worth a look.

UFA Make it Official

There is now a notice on the Hello! Project website about Tsuji Nozomi’s marriage and pregnancy, I’ve translated the article but realised that it’s already been done…twice so you’ll have probably read that else where. Instead…I’ll give my opinion on the situation (Woo for you).

In short, I think UFA and Hello! Project are dealing with this whole “incident” very well. In fact, a little too well. I think it’s most likely been negotiated that Tsuji will part from Hello! Project on good terms and thus not harm any possible future works, which are unlikely now I have to say. Although it has not been announced she is leaving, she won’t be performing pregnant will she? Plus, stress isn’t good for the child in the womb, or so I hear.

I think it would be nice if Tsuji and Hello! Project parted ways nicely, but I very much doubt UFA are “happy for her.” On the contrary, I suspect they’re pretty peeved, what with Tsuji’s solo single just about to be released and her role in an anime just starting. Sure they can replace her, but that usually doesn’t happen in Japanese anime, at least not permanently and so quickly.

I’m pretty sad to see Gyaruru become Gyagonegone. I think they’d have made a nice little unit, even if for only one single. I don’t know if they’ll replace Tsuji, I doubt it somehow. Maybe they’ll still release the single though…maybe.

Anyway before this becomes even more non-sensical, I’m going to stop writing. I almost promise that the next post won’t be about Tsuji. Unless she’s having triplets or something.

Tsuji Nozomi Pregnant and soon to be married! (2 Updates)

Wow! That’s all I can say to this news. I’d like to say I’m surprised but really I’m not too much, what one of the two-top do the other does. I’m not sure how this will affect Gyaruru and her new solo career, but I have a feeling she can’t be a full time idol as well as a mother. I think Tsuji fans will take this very hard, especially after Kago Ai being removed from UFA. The father is supposdly Sugiura Takayasu of ULTRAMAN fame.
