HANGRY & ANGRY – Kill Me Kiss Me (2008-11-19)
A new unit has emerged made of up fourth generation Morning Musume members Yoshizawa Hitomi and Ishikawa Rika! The unit isn’t under Hello! Project and will release it’s debut mini-album, Kill Me Kiss Me, under the indies label GOTHUALL. The duo has came together to promote the gothic clothing line Hangry & Angry of which a store can be found in Harajuku.
The title track of the mini-album is available for preview on the links below, it’s pretty epic and I really love it!
The 34th Mitsubishi Summer Festival “Happy Summer Festival”
The Hello! Project Official Website (Japan) has posted a news item about the upcoming Mitsubishi Summer Festival at which Ishikawa Rika, Yoshizawa Hitomi and Fujimoto Miki will be guests. Mikitty will be pimping her Okitegami single some more as well as singing pictures etc. Other CDs and DVDs will also be on sale as well as the usual photographs and posters.

Hello! Project Site Updated
The Hello! Project website has been updated so that Morning Musume’s artist page no longer has Yoshizawa Hitomi’s profile and the group photo is without her. Compared to the last image with Yoshizawa in center, Fujimoto Miki and Takahashi Ai now stand at the front, as leader and sub-leader.
Yoshizawa now has her own solo page, still using her costume from Kanashimi Twilight.
Yoshizawa Hitomi graduates from Morning Musume
Today Yoshizawa Hitomi graduated from Morning Musume after seven years with the group and the last remaining fourth generation member. Yoshizawa had been leader for around 2 years and has passed on the baton to Fujimoto Miki who as from today is the leader of Morning Musume with Takahashi Ai her sub-leader.
I’m quite sad to see Yoshizawa leave as she was one of my favourite members as well as what I consider the last member of the “classic Morning Musume era.” That is, the 1st generation to 4th.
I’m quite exited as to what she’ll do next and am glad she’s going to be getting right on with her new work as a solo artist, or whatever Tsunku or UFA has planned for her.
She shed no tears at her graduation, what more can you expect from Yoshizawa? She always was very cool.
I think Fujimoto will make a good leader but her personality is so different from Yoshizawa’s and I think this will be reflected.
It was actually yesterday that Yoshizawa graduated, at the time of writing however it was “today” for me…

Yoshizawa’s Future
I was just doing a little light reading on Wikipedia (as you do) and I read something rather interesting:
“According to several news sources [1], Producer Tsunku and Yoshizawa herself [2], she will enter a solo career of her own and possibly even form a new group within the Hello! Project franchise world.”
Although I always believed a solo career was on the cards, the possibility of a new group forming in Hello! Project is far more exciting in my oppinion. I’d personally like to see it made up of lone members of other bands (Kimura Ayaka please!).
Anyway, just thought this was interesting.
