Boom Boom Meccha Maccho! 6th Day Sales

Boom Boom Meccha Maccho! managed to climb to it’s highest position yesterday at number #13 on the Oricon Charts thus it should achieve #19 for it’s first week of sales, not too bad and the best any TNX artist has done yet, just goes to show what some promotion can do for a group. This will be my last Boom Boom Meccha Maccho! Sales update.

Boom Boom Meccha Maccho 5th Day Sales

Somewhat surprisingly Gyaruru’s debut single has manage to climb from #24 back up to #17, this secures a not too terrible position in the Oricon Charts.

Boom Boom Meccha Maccho! 4th Day Sales

Gyaruru has managed to maintain #24 in the Oricon Singles Chart today. It’s pretty definite they should chart within the top 30 unless they fall considerably in the next few days.

Boom Boom Meccha Maccho! 3rd Day Sales

Welcome Back to the Gyaruru Sales Update! On it’s 3rd day of sales Gyaruru’s debut single Boom Boom Meccha Maccho! has fallen to number 24 which is three spaces lower than it was the day before. Still it’s not bad for a TNX group without a great deal of appeal for the mainstream. Things may have been different if Tsuji was still with the group.

Watching the PV I have one thing to say about each girl:

    Abebe: Looks a little bored.
    Sonene: Looks a little scary.
    Amimi: Looks a litle great.

I hear the story PV is better than the broadcast one, so I’ll have to wait and see, I didn’t purchase the debut single myself, I like it but not quite enough.

Your feelings towards the single pretty much reflect mine. In the standard PV, Sonene does look really creepy. Although after watching it again in my lunch break, I’d like to add gangerly as well, lol.

If you haven’t seen the Story Version of the PV, I’d really recommend giving it a watch, it totally changed my whole feelings towards the song and the girls, this PV is sooo much better.

Asami looks a little super-cute in my opinion… XD

I watched the Story Version PV and the making of and I have to admit I do like Abebe better. Sonene eating is kind of disturbing, she’s like a vacuum. That’s not to say I dislike her, she seems pretty cool, just disturbing.

I feel like Ami is too good for this.

I think Abe is a bit too good a singer for this to be honest.

Tokito is a good singer too but I think this song is quite her style, she does it best anyway.

Boom Boom Meccha Maccho! 2nd Day Sales

As I earlier predicted Gyaruru’s debut single Boom Boom Meccha Maccho! has falled to number 21 on the Oricon Charts today, that’s not awful though and still leaves some hope for Gyaruru making it into the top 20.

Boom Boom Meccha Maccho! 1st Day Sales

Gyaruru’s debut single Boom Boom Meccha Maccho! has debuted at number 15 in the Oricon singles chart. It’s not as high as some people would have liked but it’s the best any TNX artist has achieved on first day of sales so far (I think.) I don’t think it will manage to stay in the top 20 all week but it’s ranking shouldn’t be too bad!

    June 20th Releases

Boom Boom Meccha Maccho! – Gyaruru’s debut single, released in both regular and special editions, as usual a DVD accompanying the special edition.

Momo – Berryz Koubou’s Tsugunaga Momoko’s first solo photobook.

Gyaruru’s debut single is released today as well as Tsugunaga Momoko’s premier photobook. I’m rather excited about Gyaruru’s debut release and I guess Tsugunaga’s photobook could be alright.
