Morning Musume OG Concert Tour Announced

Big news for all the fans of the Morning Musume OG.   It’s been announced that the members of the OG/M-Line will be having a concert tour throughout Japan.  The name of concert will be “Dream Morning Musume。Concert Tour 2011 Haru no Mai 〜Sotsugyousei DE Saikessei〜”.  All members of the OG are hopefully going to be performing with the exceptions of Konno Asami due to her broadcasting job. There will be a total of  8 concerts in the tour.  The final show of this event is expected on May 29 2011.

This is huge news.  In fact, this is the first OG Concert Tour since the Elder Club Graduated from H!P.  I can’t wait to hear more about this upcoming concert.

Tsuji Nozomi is listed to perform in the tour. Konno isn’t because she is most likely leaving UFA as per the indication of several Memorial Fanclub goods.

Yup, it seems Tsuji will be able to perform, she’s gonna have to recover from her pregnancy quick though! I love Tsuji, so yay.

As for Konno, I assume she has training to do for her newscaster position on NHK.

      they “seem” fake?
anyone who knows who they are of course would know they are “fake”.
      that’s a harsh word.
they were asked to promote and represent a company and that’s what they are doing.

    Hello! Project Site Updated

The Hello! Project website has been updated so that Morning Musume’s artist page no longer has Yoshizawa Hitomi’s profile and the group photo is without her. Compared to the last image with Yoshizawa in center, Fujimoto Miki and Takahashi Ai now stand at the front, as leader and sub-leader.

Yoshizawa now has her own solo page, still using her costume from Kanashimi Twilight.

Yoshizawa Hitomi graduates from Morning Musume

Today Yoshizawa Hitomi graduated from Morning Musume after seven years with the group and the last remaining fourth generation member. Yoshizawa had been leader for around 2 years and has passed on the baton to Fujimoto Miki who as from today is the leader of Morning Musume with Takahashi Ai her sub-leader.

I’m quite sad to see Yoshizawa leave as she was one of my favourite members as well as what I consider the last member of the “classic Morning Musume era.” That is, the 1st generation to 4th.

I’m quite exited as to what she’ll do next and am glad she’s going to be getting right on with her new work as a solo artist, or whatever Tsunku or UFA has planned for her.

She shed no tears at her graduation, what more can you expect from Yoshizawa? She always was very cool.

I think Fujimoto will make a good leader but her personality is so different from Yoshizawa’s and I think this will be reflected.

It was actually yesterday that Yoshizawa graduated, at the time of writing however it was “today” for me…

The beauty of Morning Musume is that few of the ex-members actually leave. They always seem to bounce back, better and stronger, with new and different musical challenges. The ensemble, though, does suffer for a while. Let’s see what the future holds!

She became the ugly duckling story, except she was never ugly, she became more elegant. I’m saddened that after she just graduated, her brother died in a car accident!

    Yoshizawa’s Future

I was just doing a little light reading on Wikipedia (as you do) and I read something rather interesting:

“According to several news sources [1], Producer Tsunku and Yoshizawa herself [2], she will enter a solo career of her own and possibly even form a new group within the Hello! Project franchise world.”

Although I always believed a solo career was on the cards, the possibility of a new group forming in Hello! Project is far more exciting in my oppinion. I’d personally like to see it made up of lone members of other bands (Kimura Ayaka please!).

Anyway, just thought this was interesting.

I would love to see a group with Ayaka and Yossi (you can put Mai in it if you want to). These 3 trio would be great for tv. They are too funny together. They have the chemistry with each other (duh, that’s why they are best friends). They can form their own group and have their own show. I’m all for it.

I love to see Ayaka pretty much involved in anything to be honest, except a scandal.
