Introducing Minimoni’s New Leader – Linlin! (Update in Bold)
Tsunku announced on his blog yesterday another member for the new Minimoni and as many had hoped (and some not so much), Morning Musume’s Linlin will be the newest addition to the group as well as it’s new leader!
This is great news I feel, Linlin deserves more attention – she can sing, dance and she’s cute too! As Linlin’s 18 years old this suggests to me that the other members will be younger, perhaps from Hello! Pro Egg, Berryz Koubou or C-ute. Tsunku has confirmed the remaining members will be from Hello! Pro Egg.
I’m really pleased about this news, I love Morning Musume’s 8th generation!

Linlin’s a great choice as leader, only problem is she doesn’t match the condition set up by the group’s founder Yaguchi, about being 150cm or shorter… (Linlin’s 153cm, according to Kpop Wiki)

I couldn’t be happier about this and totally agree that LinLin should get a little more attention. She’s fun, and she can actually sing. Plus, I’m thrilled it’s not going to be all Eggs. Most of them completely bore me and/or can’t sing very well. I know a lot of people would disagree with me, but that’s how I feel.
@Ida – Takahashi was also 153cm when she was in Mini Moni, so I guess they figured that LinLin was fine too! XD

Haha, so I was right to consider Linlin!
So, Linlin and Kanon. Now who to anticipate? I doubt it will be Ogawa Saki because her image doesn’t match, and neither does Maeda Yuuka. Saho Akari wouldn’t either… Perhaps Chisato’s younger sister? I don’t really know the Eggs at all… x.x;

I would like Miyamoto Karin and Takeuchi Akari join. Karin is 131cm and Takechan about 142cm. Well, if Karin join I’m sure Kanon and Karin will make a NO STRAWBERRY NO LIFE duo. Now I wonder who will join?? There’s alot of shortie in Egg. Sengoku Minami can because she is 149cm. I’m waiting.

@Alice, Assu is kinda boring. She rarely smiles and she always looks pissed off, plus she rarely talks during egg concert MCs. I don’t think they’ll add her. I hope they add Arai Manami and, like the person above said, Miyamoto Karin. Those are two of the cutest eggs, and they’re both short and young xD
